To capture the forward movement of the institution, The Mount Sinai Medical Center has revealed a single logo and new brand platform. "The new logo is derived from the historic Mount Sinai Mountain range and the intersection lines represent the connection between physicians, scientists, clinical staff, patients and students and the members of the Mount Sinai community," said Kenneth L. Davis, MD, President and CEO of The Mount Sinai Medical Center. Intersecting lines in vibrant colors of cyan and deep magenta overlap to create the color violet. This combination of colors serves as a metaphor for multiple parts of Mount Sinai that work together to create something new. The rebranding initiative was led by Leonard Achan, Mount Sinai's Chief Communications Officer, working with Mount Sinai leadership and an internal Brand Council. Two firms supported the work: Siegel + Gale designed the logo, and Infinia Group developed and implemented a new branding platform and system along with Mount Sinai's Marketing and Communications team.
